Your memory will live on forever, for the next generations, so richly earned, such a good husband and father, and good Soul..
While your memories were destroyed by Crippen Mortuary and dated of information loaded in 2017, that was simply not the case at all, this was all done in 2012. Crippen Mortuary lost and distorted all this information, and rebuilt it to the best of their ability. I am happy to see it has been recovered, and put back in some sort of very sloppy manner with all these incorrect dates.
This caused me great deal of grief for numerous weeks, I am happy to have these memories returned in some kind of way. Just simply inexcusable Crippen Mortuary. Just before Christmas happy to have been to watch and recall our Good times.,and memories.
Remembering you today. you are gone eight years today, and missed by all. Times flies by and really seems like you are never far away, seem to be always with me.
Dearest Jo, Lillian, Joanna, Shannon and Ryan, I am so sorry about your loss. Chris will be forever present in your hearts; he is with you. I send you all my love and condolences. Peace.
My heart goes out to the Godfry and Joshua family!!!!! I'm so sorry for your loss!!!! TO MY DEAR FRIEND CHRIS; I WILL NEVER FORGET THE FANTASTIC STORIES YOU SHARED WITH ME AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF MY HEART!! I KNOW YOU HAVE YOUR WINGS! JO PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! LOVE YOU GUYS
My dear friend, my mentor. You were such a great influence to me upon my arrival at Tan Son Nhut, Air Force Base in the Republic of Vietnam in 1968. You took me under your wing and raised me up as a brother-in-arms, helping me to survive in a war a long way from home. Our time spent together back home in California afterwards was quite a hoot too. I am proud to have known you. Heaven is a better place with your arrival.
I only met him once, but he was a charismatic and wonderful man. Like Jo, he went out of his way to be nice to me and make me feel at home. I am glad to have known him.
Chris, thanks for being one of my best friends while we were in Vietnam togather. You were such an inspiration to me and so very helpful. You will be missed so very much and my dear friend, I'll never forget you. My condolences to the family. Your Friend, Ray Rash
I will miss you Chris. I was deeply saddened to hear you are gone from us. I have alot of memorie, many pleasant and funny that I come to mind. Please forgive me if I messed up trying to attach the photo our our cubicle showing our bunks, me, Phuong and Vinh. Dang it!!! you still had that full head of hair which I was always jealous of. Your friend, bunkmate and fellow Air Force Security Policeman. Don
God has taken you from us and to a better place in His Own Home. You were a strong and gallant trooper in this world. I and all who knew your courage and steadfast loyalty, shall always cherish your memory. Vaya Con Dios My Friend.
We've always felt what a truly nice guy Chris was, but he was also so genuine and down-to-earth. He deserves every bit of the outpouring of love from his wonderful family and friends! They were blessed to have him in their lives and he was blessed to have them also. A good life to remember!
I have so many fond memories of Chris, Jo and the family. We had wonderful Thanksgiving dinners which were always so delicious. Chris carving the turkey and Jo's famous salads and her bistoe gravey. I remember those hot summer nights Chris and Jo would barbecue and we would be swimming late into the evening at the Quartz Hill house. Chris was a wonderful husband and father. We will miss him.
Thank you so much for not only being a wonderful father, but a great friend too. You are the most kind and selfless person that I have ever met. I am so lucky and thankful to have had you in my life. I love you so much and there will not be a day that goes by that I will not think of you and smile, and remember how much you added to my life. Rest in peace.
Chris, Thank you for being a wonderful father. I will cherish all you gave to the family over the past 24 years. May God bless you, and may you rest in peace. I love you always.
Chris, my friend, you are loved by many and already missed by many. I am glad that you and I got to know each other over the years and for all the information that you have shared with me. May God be with your Family and Friends. We shall meet again someday in heaven. Your brother and friend, Charles Penley
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
