Farewell Dear Mother

Somewhere in my heart beneath all my grief and pain,

Is a smile I still wear at the sound of the sound of your dear name.

The precious word “Mother”, she was our world you see,

But now my heart is breaking cause she’s no longer here with me.

She is an angel now and she will watch over us.

To guide us and advice us and know that we are still loved.

When we think of her kind heart and all those loving years,

My memories surround us and we can’t hold back the tears

She truly was our best friend, someone we could confide in,

She always had a tender touch and a warm and gentle grin.

We want to thank you Mom for teaching us so well,

And through the time has come that we must bid you this farewell.

We will remember all you’ve taught us and make you proud.

Thank you for our dear Mom for all the love you have shown us.

Although you’ve left this earth and now you’ve taken flight,

I know that you are here with us each morning, noon and night.

She was a Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, friend and so much more

Lidik passed away on August 4th, 2020 in Los Angeles California

She was Daughter of Grekor and Asteghik

She was a Wife of Vartan Gurjian

She was Mom of Karineh and Vahram

Sister of Vahe, Aida, Neli

Sister In-law of Shake and Ardavaz

Mother In-law of Datevik

And loved by so many

She was born in Isfahan, Iran, October 11th 1924.
