Helen Siebert (1924-2012) Helen Mae Siebert, nee Gross, 87, was born October 14, 1924 in O’Fallon, Illinois and passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, California from complications of emphysema. A graduate of Belleville Township High School., she was married on November 26, 1949 at Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville, Ill, where she and her husband, Bill, were life members. She shared her beautiful voice in the choir for many years. Helen was a Past President of the Business and Professional Women’s Club, a member of the Women of the Moose, an avid bowler and Bingo fanatic. A seventy-nine year resident of the Belleville area, she happily resided with her daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Jeff May in Sunland Tujunga since her birthday October 2003. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Jung of Belleville, her sister-in-law, Kathleen Houlihan of Calimesa, Ca, and one niece, five nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Lee Siebert, her parents, Margaret and Edgar Gross and her sister Loel "Cooky" Isselhardt, and her nephew Jerry Isselhardt.
