Michael “Mike” D. Honan February 29, 1960 – February 1, 2016
Mike Honan, 55, passed away in Highland Park, Los Angeles, California. Mike was bornin New Jersey, and grew up in Baldwinsville, New York. He graduated from CW Baker High School in Baldwinsville, and Potsdam College in Potsdam, New York. Mike moved to Los Angeles in the late 1980's where he made a career working for various departments of the City of Los Angeles.
Mike’s passing has left a lasting impression on all who knew him, and his smile will forever remain alive in our hearts. No words can adequately express the gratitude his friends have for his appearance in their lives, his exceptional generosity and friendship, and the size of the imprint he has left on their hearts. He will be truly missed.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Edith A. Honan, and is survived by his father John Honan (wife Betty), his brother John Honan Jr. (wife Lori), and his beloved sisters Karen Falardeau (husband Jeff) and Kathleen Pettit (husband John), along with seven nephews and one great nephew.
Sean Hinton (Mike’s best friend and partner) will host memorial services at Crippen Mortuary, 2900 Honolulu Avenue, La Crescenta, California, on Saturday, February 27th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mike’s life before he is laid to rest with his mother in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
