Obituary for Ms. Joan Eleanor Markey-Keith Joan Eleanor Markey-Keith passed away on 01/15/2017 at Verdugo Hills USC Hospital in Glendale. Joan departed at the age of 76 yrs old with good friends at her bedside. Joan Eleanor Markey-Keith was the first born of twins, her brother Jack was 10-minutes behind her in birth, on October 8, 1941 in Phoenix, AZ. Her parents, Alva Taylor Montgomery and Eleanor Hargrove-Montgomery separated shortly thereafter and she and her siblings were raised by Eleanor and her new husband Cortland W. Coleman. Her twin, Jack Coleman lives in Arkansas, her older brother Richard Montgomery lives in Arizona while younger brother Cortland Coleman lives in Pennsylvania. Joan's first years were spent in Phoenix and then various locations including Pueblo, CO; Torrance, CA and Palo Verdes Estates, CA. Joan leaves behind 3 brothers: Cortland Coleman, Jack Coleman and Richard Montgomery. She also had 4 daughters: Shannon Pena, Elizabith Bissell, Patrice Cates and Rikki Gomez.
