Dearest Katie and family,
Growing up with all of you at St. James the Less brings back beautiful memories of your mom. She served as our Girl Scout leader and in doing so set a wonderful example for all of us. She was kind and generous with all of us. I looked forward to our meetings where we learned together and had fun. Another memory I have is making lamb cakes for Easter at St. James. Your mom patiently showed us how to bake and decorate the cakes. The lamb flower arrangement made was a beautiful reminder of that time. I was fortunate to see your mom with Katie while attending Mr. Adams' funeral service. While it was a sad occasion, it was so nice to chat with her and hear about all the classes she was taking. I want to thank all of you for sharing your mom with us during our childhood years. My mom, Barbara passed away a few years ago. I know she was waiting there along with your dear father, to reunite with Pat. In my mind's eye, I can see them up in heaven having a cup of coffee and catching up. :-)
Love to you all,
Diane Fogarty

The loss of a mother is among the most difficult to live with. Although I did not know her, if you Katie, are anything like her, then she must have been a really wonderful Lady. I am so very sorry for your grief and emotional pain at this time. There is One who comforts and heals that pain. May you turn to Him now. Frank

Your mass today was beautiful especially the eulogy. While I saw your mom frequently at 11:30 mass, I did not realize she was from my "neck of the woods", born and raised in Chicago and now we frequent IND where my brother in law lives in La Porte. It was nice to hear of her great life. It was an honor to know her.
