Obituary of Hugh Hudson

Hugh Maurice Hudson 7-24-1921 to 7-22-2012 Hugh M. Hudson Died Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Montrose, California while in Montrose Healthcare Center. Hugh was born July 24, 1921 at his family farm in Osage, Iowa. He was the first son of Pearl Mae (Baker) Hudson and Maurice Marshel Hudson. Hugh was predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Phyllis Marie (Glass) Hudson. Hugh served In the U.S. Navy as a fighter pilot in WWII before returning to California to start a family with Phyllis. Hugh is survived by his three children: Sheryl Ann Hudson, Glendale, California Hugh Baker Hudson, Santa Clarita, California Valerie Sandra (Hudson) Munch, Kent, Washington Hugh also has a surviving sister, Elaine Hudson-Hamilton living in Des Moines, Iowa. A true highlight of Hugh’s life was to enjoy watching his three grandsons grow up to be fine young men.
