Austin enjoying being silly with cousin Austin, Emily Sarah and Grandama Helen

Austin brought a lot of joy to our son Brian. They grew up together from elementary through high school and kept in touch after Brian moved to Massachusetts. They were in cub scouts and boy scouts together. Brian and Austin loved skateboarding and spent hours perfecting their craft at locations I choose not to remember. Here's them on Holloween 2009. Freshman year, CVHS and this is how they dressed for school on Halloween. Thanks to Zack Miller’s grandma Jeri’s costume shop, the boys enjoyed access to some great costumes each year. This is the boys clowning around with Austin. We wish there were more years, but we celebrate the years that we had with Austin. Much love to you Theresa, Mike and Matt and all his friends and family.

Some of my favorite memories took place around the holidays. Playing in the backyard, sneaking sweets, and just enjoying each other's company. Austin was kind, adventurous and a wonderful cousin.

Austin's 26th Birthday Party (2017)
He was so happy and said it was the best birthday he's ever had!
Austin went on the Great Wheel , even though he disliked heights. Stunning views.
Brian part 1
There's so little space here to say enough. But i got to know Austin at a really beautiful time in our lives. We spent nearly every day together, often just the two of us, skateboarding all over La Crescenta and Glendale. I don't think one could count the amount of times that Austin tried to ollie down this loading dock but I think he would be proud to see this image doing it with a cart in front. I always marveled at his persistence. Every day he would come back to the same thing and give it another go, for months and months i
Brian part 2
remember going to Clarke to try to ollie the 5 stair out front. It was ritualistic. But it was always the best. Austin was the funniest guy I knew and an incredibly loyal person to those he eventually let in. I feel special to have been one of those people. I gonna miss him a whole lot. I feel like these pictures are from when I knew Austin best and they're the way I'll always remember him. Maybe you didn't really get to see him out like this but I wish everyone had.
