On Monday, the 17th of September 2018, Maria Antonia Zuniga, known to all who loved her as “Mary” passed on to her eternal rest in God our Savior at the age of 79.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Osacar Zuniga, and her parents, Aurelio and Amalia Ruiz.  Mary’s life is remembered and celebrated by her children Marco, Yolanda (Mike), Terri (Ken), and Raul.  She is especially loved and missed by her grandchildren Cynthia, Ryan, Kaitlyn, and Brandon and her great grandson Timothy.  Mary is also lovingly remembered by her sisters and brothers: Josefina, Reynaldo, Reuben, Jose-Luis, Theresa, Delores, and Juan.  Mary’s life is also celebrated by her many nieces and nephews and the countless “adopted” family of the children that she loving cared for through the years of her life.

A viewing will be held at Crippen Mortuary, 2900 Honolulu Ave., Glendale on Thursday the 20th of September from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, the 21st of September at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church – 2411 Montrose Ave., Montrose, Ca.  There will also be a Memorial in celebration of Mary’s life at the Montrose Church – 2409 Florencita Dr. W. Montrose, at 2 p.m. on Friday the 21st of September.
