Carol Forgey, beloved wife of Darrell Forgey and proud mom of Ryan, Allison and Spencer, passed peacefully on February 16, 2019 at age 67, after a valiant 2 year battle with liver cancer. She confronted death with the same grace and dignity she used to face life these last few very difficult years.

Carol and Darrell moved to La Canada in 1986 and remained there until her passing. An inveterate shopper and real estate connoisseur, she loved to look at properties in the area and guess their value. She also devoted much time to her children and participated actively in their schooling.

She also leaves 4 grandchildren, Gage, Jax, Breckin and Ashton, all of whom she was particularly proud and loving.  

She gave much and asked so little; there were no "why me's?" during her illness.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at La Canada Presbyterian Church on Saturday March 23, 2019 at 2 pm. Arrangements were handled by Crippen Mortuary.
