SHARON YVONNE GROOMS, 74, of Burbank, Calif., passed away on May 14, 2020. She was a retiree of Pacific Bell/AT&T with 35 years of service. Sharon spent her retirement years as a volunteer with Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Guild as a life member and Burbank Volunteer Program. Many months throughout her retirement were spent touring the country in her Teton RV (5th wheel rig), and she was a member of numerous RV clubs. She was a lifetime member of the President’s Circle of Telephone Pioneers (Mission Chapter President ’87-‘88).

She was predeceased by her mother, Ruth Lascalle; her father, Duane (Pat) Grooms and her brother, Michael. She is survived by her devoted and loving companion, LaVerne Thomas of Burbank; her brother, Patrick (Bodfish, Ca.) and her loving ex, sister-in-law, Geraldine Poole Grooms of North Hollywood as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
