Charles Alexander (Alex to family members) Blaine, II, 61 years old, of La Canada, California, passed away on July 21,2023 in his home.

Alex was born in Georgetown, Ohio to Joseph Blaine and Phyllis Armstrong on August 29, 1961. He went to high school at Walnut Hills High School and graduated in 1979. He went on to earn a doctorate degree in podiatric medicine from California College of Podiatric Medicine. He worked as a podiatrist for thirty years.

He enjoyed playing chess, attending Los Angeles professional sports games, and traveling.

Alex is survived by his wife, Kay, his son, Alexander, his mother, Phyllis Armstrong, his sister, Cecile Duhnke, her husband Seth Duhnke, and their daughter Grace. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph. He will be missed by many friends and family members.

Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity on his behalf in lieu of flowers.

A private service will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio in the near future with his family. There will be no public visitation.
