Lorraine (Rene) Eleanor Fredeen Grau

The youngest of five children, Rene was born and raised in Highland Park, Ca. where she attended Lincoln High School. Shortly after graduation she married Eugene William Grau and they purchased a hillside home in the San Rafael area of Pasadena, Ca where they raised four daughters; Barbara Converse, Claudia Parker, Patty Grau and Kathy Grau.
Loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and beautiful spirit to all who knew her. She graced us with her gentle character and happiness, inspired us with her strength and courage.
Rene succumbed to her battle with breast cancer at home surrounded by her family. We are grateful for the compassionate care and understanding provided by the San Gabriel Vitas Innovative Hospice Care.
Her brother George Fredeen, daughters Claudia Parker, Patty Grau and Kathy Grau, and grandsons Michael Converse and William Watson survive Lorraine.
