Anthony Roy Furtado

1959 – 2016

Anthony Furtado, 57, passed away on July 23, 2016 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Panorama City. Anthony was born in Bombay, India on June 2, 1959, and came to the United States in 1991. He has been a resident of Santa Clarita, California for the past 5 years and prior to moving was a resident of West Covina, California for 11 years.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Caroline De Souza, and his beautiful children, Nathan and Naomi Furtado. He also leaves behind his mother, Susan Furtado , who lives in Toronto, Canada, and 6 brothers, Roland, Edgar, Osler, Darryl, Steino and Ceaser and their family.

A viewing and rosary will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August, 1, 2016, at St. Claire’s Catholic Church in Santa, Clarita, California. Funeral services will commence at 12:00 PM with a reception in the church hall immediately following the mass. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Crippen's Santa Clarita Valley Burial & Cremation Service in Canyon Country, California.
